Beautiful ppl was launched in 2020 as an initiative to improve the wellbeing of people being treated at St Charles Mental Health Unit, London. Working along side Mental health professionals providing invaluable guidance and support, with skills and expertise in beauty and hair, this intervention has been positively received by both services users and clinical staff, Beautiful ppl continues to be an invaluable resource for the unit.
Led by a team of industry experts working Beautiful Ppl is about sharing beauty skills and expertise to make a positive difference to people's lives, empowering them to feel strong, confident and educated. Through this initiative,Beautiful ppl has also begun working with local community projects, promoting beauty positivity, self-care, and mental wellbeing. Beautiful Ppl knows that teaching and sharing skills collaboratively with people who face challenges and stigma in accessing beauty services has an invaluable role and is committed to developing its educational workshops.
Beautiful Ppl is passionate about sharing beauty skills and expertise to make a positive difference in people's lives empowering them to feel confident and, indeed, be beautiful people inside and out.
